Welcome to Bracondale Medical Centre
There is currently a lack of the raw material used to make the blood bottles needed for collecting blood samples. Patients in greatest need are being prioritised by the NHS. From 26th of August 2021 to the 17th of September 2021 all GPs must stop blood tests immediately unless they are exceptionally urgent. This means that the majority of GP patients will NOT get a blood test. We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause. Please be understanding at this difficult time.
Dr Catherine Briggs name has now changed to Dr Catherine Munro
As of Friday 14th August we will have a new phone system. Our number will change on this date to 0161 983 9050.
We remain open from 0800 to 1830 Monday to Friday and able to provide support for any physical and mental health problems you would normally contact us for. Please arrange appointments using our online services or by phone.
The majority of consultations are being undertaken by telephone or video at this time. Face to face appointments are available where required following discussion with a member of the clinical team.
During the current coronavirus outbreak we may need to change how our services are delivered at short notice.

Right Care, Right Time
Why see a doctor when you might not need to?
When you are not very well you just want to get help as soon as possible.
At Bracondale we have access to various team members employed by and linked to the practice; depending on the issues you have it may be more helpful for you to see a pharmacist, optician, physiotherapist or another specialist as your first point of contact.
For more information speak to a member of our reception team or visit www.rightcarestockport.org.uk
