To improve patient experience and staff wellbeing we are launching a new appointment booking process called 'Total Triage'. All appointment and administrative requests will be captured using a secure online form which can be completed by phone, tablet or computer. The information submitted will be reviewed, typically on the same day, by a GP-led triage team who will then respond with further advice and/or information about available appointments.
We are using this system from Tuesday 10th October and you will notice an updated phone message giving the option to receive a link to the form when you call. The form can also be accessed directly by clicking the image above.
For people who are, for any reason, unable to access or complete the online form the option to speak to one of the reception team remains; either over the phone on 0161 983 9050 or by attending the practice in person. The reception team will then assist in collecting the necessary information and completing the form on your behalf.
We anticipate this will reduce our morning rush for appointments and give all patients equal opportunity to access appointments that are appropriate for their needs. A mix of telephone, video and face-to-face appointments remain available with all clinical staff.

Each day we offer a mix of face-to-face and telephone appointments which are bookable in advance or on the day.
If you are housebound and unable to attend surgery, we can arrange to visit you at home. Visits will be triaged by the visiting doctor on the day. Please ring us before 10.00am if a home visit is required.
Extended Hours Appointment Service
We offer extended hours on Monday's 6.30pm to 8.00pm and Tuesday's and Friday's 7.00am to 8.00am.
GP and Nursing appointments are available during our extended hours.
Out Of Hours Service
For medical assistance out of hours (including weekends) contact NHS 111.
Face-to-face and telephone appointments in Stockport for urgent needs are provided by Mastercall.
